How long will my dog be at the salon for?To ensure every pup gets the love, care, and playtime they deserve, without rushing through the groom, we usually recommend planning 3-4 hours! However, because of our doggy daycare-like environment, if you need to leave your pup here for longer (with our daycare addon) you can ensure they’re being well cared for!

How do you care for nervous or anxious dogs?Luckily, this issue is sometimes naturally solved by our cage free, stress free, and loving environment. However in some cases, we’ll adjust the entire grooming process for their needs, usually by giving them more playtime, or playing with and comforting them between steps, while being extremely patient. And in the most severe cases, we offer our rehabilitation program to show them grooming doesn’t have to be scary or stressful!

How do you take care of senior dogs?The reason why we’re Madison's go-to choice for thousands of senior pups, is because of our process specifically tailored to create a comfortable environment for seniors as they age! During the process, we go at their pace, ensuring they’re stress free, and comfortable, and between each step, we allow seniors to rest, and sleep on a warm blanket, under warm lighting. Too much? Maybe… But this is why our seniors love coming to us!

Why does my dog need to be groomed consistently?The truth is that dogs are creatures of habit… Think of the last time you taught them a trick, they got to learn it, and likely even got excited every time you’d do this trick! Grooming is no different! They just get tons of playtime, and get excited about seeing their favorite groomer with us! For this reason, we require all new clients to book appointments every 8 weeks, or closer together. (Consistency varies based on your pups specific needs)
